2 Ingredient DIY Face Masks For Acne:
I want to share my favourite DIY face masks that I use for acne and pimples. These are the ones I find most effective on acne-prone and oily skin.
Let’s see what they are…
1- Aloevera & Tea Tree DIY Face Mask:
This mask is by far the easiest and most effective to heal acne. It will also prevent acne scarring and fade away any scars that you might already have.
Aloe vera is a healing plant that has been used since ancient times. It provides moisture to the skin and soothes any inflammation caused by acne. Aloe vera contains many essential vitamins for your skin like Vitamin, A, E & C. It can even reduce acne scars. The second ingredient tea tree oil is your best friend if you have acne-prone skin. It has the ability to shrink your pimples overnight. It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce skin inflammation and even blackheads. Always use diluted tea tree oil. I use the one from The Body Shop
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon of Aloe Vera Gel (99-100%)
- 3-4 drops of Tea Tree Oil
Method:
- Just mix the two ingredients in a bowl
- Apply it all over your face avoiding the eyes and close-to-mouth areas.
- Leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
- Wash it off
- I suggest you apply this mask at night and leave it overnight to get the best results. Wash it off in the morning.
- Apply your moisturizer.
This is the easiest face mask. I don’t even use a bowl for it. I just wash my hands, take the aloevera gel on my palm and mix the tea tree oil in. Then I apply it all over my cleansed face.
