Today I have healthy, delicious and detoxifying drink recipes for you. But let’s first discuss why is detoxifying important and how can it benefit our skin?
We all have some points in life when we are suffering from hyper-pigmentation, dark spots or acne out of nowhere. This is a sign that our body has a build-up of toxins that are reaching our skin as well.
When there is toxin build-up, topical skin care can lose its effects at some point, because we need to cure the problem that is within.
Detoxifying drinks will not only benefit our skin but also regulate all the other bodily functions.
Causes Of Toxin Build-up
Toxins can build up in our bodies over time when we neglect our eating and drinking habits. Here are some of the common causes of toxin build-up:

Ingredients:
- 1 capsicum chopped
- ½ cucumber chopped
- 2 carrots chopped
- 1 apple chopped (preferably with skin)
Method:
Put all of these in a blender and then add enough water to blend them up smoothly (approx ½ a cup of water).
This drink is less sweet than the first one and has more nutrients and fiber content than an average meal. You can replace this drink for a meal, it’s that jam-packed with nutrients…!
