Everybody wants to have glowing and healthy skin. It is the ultimate goal for most people. For getting glowing skin you need a good skincare routine. But, aside from that, you also need to have a good diet that will provide your body and skin with all the essential nutrients.

But people often say: “who has time for keeping track of these nutrients in our diet.”

So…

A quicker way to start taking a balanced diet without a lot of effort is by drinking 1 glass of skincare drink that covers all the essential nutrients.

Drinking these skincare drinks can improve skin health by providing vitamins and nutrients that support skin health, such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and antioxidants.

I am sharing some delicious recipes for skincare drinks. These drinks will not only benefit your skin but your overall health.

Skincare Drink#1: Avocado & Banana Smoothie

This is a smooth and creamy smoothie. A delicious way to drink your way to glowing skin. You can reduce the amount of liquid in this smoothie if you like it in a thinner consistency.

Skincare Drink#1: Avocado & Banana Skincare drink

Recipe:

  • 1 Frozen Banana – Cut into pieces
  • 1 Ripe Avocado – Scooped out
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Lemon Juice- Optional but it complements the flavour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Essense – Don’t add it if you are using lemon juice
  • 1 Cup of Milk – You can use Almond milk or Lactose-Free Milk, It’s on you

Blend Everything together until smooth and well mixed. Delicious skincare drink is ready.

Benefits:

Avocados are rich in multiple vitamins and minerals. The key benefit of avocados is that they are rich in healthy fats, especially omega-3. Healthy fats keep our skin looking younger and keep our collagen levels maintained. It provides anti-aging factor to our skin.

Bananas are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that can contribute to healthy skin. They contain vitamins A, B, C and E which help in keeping the skin hydrated. Bananas also help to prevent signs of aging and repair damaged skin cells. Additionally, they have anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe irritated skin and reduce redness. And they are delicious..!!

Skincare Drink#2: Strawberry & Blueberry Smoothie

Berries are loved by many people, so why not use them to get glowing skin. Let’s make a skincare drink out of them.

  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Strawberries
  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 Cup of Yogurt – Use milk if you don’t like yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey – You can add any other sugar substitute

Blend everything together and your skincare drink is ready.

Yogurt also helps to promote skin glow. Aside from all the vitamin and minerals, Yougurt is known for having Probiotics. The beneficial bacteria in yogurt can help improve gut health, which is important for skin health as the gut and skin are closely connected. Also, the protein content in yogurt helps our skin tissues to repair and heal faster.

Skincare Drink#3: Turmeric Latte

This skincare drink is for when you want something warm and cozy, taking care of your skin in your comfort zone. This drink focuses more on healing your skin.

If you are pregnant, this drink is not good for you on a daily basis. This drink is great to have postpartum.

Recipe:

  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder – Organic Turmeric Powder is going to give you the best results
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon of Honey – Or any other sweetener
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Of Vanilla Essence – Optional

Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium high heat, until it comes to a boil.

Now turn off the stove and add everything.

Then mix well and pour it out in your favorite mug.

Enjoy your warm skincare drink in a comfortable chair while you chill…
